2. COMPOSITION / INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
Concentrate of Compost slurry consists of pineapple juice, sugarcane molasses, papaya puree and mushroom spawn

3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Emergency Overview

Maui LCF is considered to be nontoxic according to EPA Standard Acute Oral Toxicity test.

Dark liquid, reddish brown color
May cause irritation to the eyes, skin and respiratory system in people allergic to mushrooms.

Health Effects: Eyes
This product may cause allergic irritation to eyes if allergic to mushrooms.

Health Effects: Skin
This product may cause irritation to skin with prolong or repeated contact.

Health Effects: Inhalation
Inhalation of vapor or mists of the product may be irritating to the respiratory system in people allergic to mushrooms.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES
Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelid open.   Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

SKIN
For skin contact, flush with large amount of water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. Immediately take off contaminated clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Inhalation
If symptoms are experienced, remove source of contamination or move victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek medical assistance.

Ingestion
If the material is swallowed, get immediate medical attention or advice.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill and Leak Procedures
Absorb spill with inert ingredients. Shovel material into appropriate container for disposal. Flush area with water to remove trace residue. Do not allow spilled product to enter public drainage system or open watercourses. Ventilate the contaminated area.
Surface may become slippery after spillage. Dried surface may become sticky.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling Procedures
Wash thoroughly after handling.

Storage Procedures
Avoid freezing or excessive heat. Do not handle near or store near open flame, heat or other sources of ignition. Plastic container may melt or burn.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Engineering Controls
Use general ventilation.  Local exhaust is suggested for use, where possible, in enclosed or confined spaces.

Personal Protection Equipment: Skin
Wear suitable protective clothing. Use impervious gloves in enclosed areas. Latex gloves are sufficient in areas with sufficient ventilation.

Personal Protection Equipment: Respiratory
In enclosed areas, such as a greenhouse, use a respirator to avoid inhaling heavy mist. In well ventilated areas, use a particle mask.
Personal Protective Equipment: General
Eye wash fountain and emergency showers are recommended.

APPEARANCE AND ODOR
Dark thick liquid, particles may settle, amber color. Slight odor. Acidic organic material.

CHEMICAL STABILITY
Stable under normal conditions. Store in plastic containers.

INCOMPATIBILITY
This product may corrode iron or aluminum metals with prolong exposure.

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
 Do not release in any body of water or runoff into rivers or streams.   Compost Tea will biologically degrade within 30 days.

Disposal Instructions
The transportation, storage, treatment and disposal of this waste material must be conducted in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
